Ingredients:
2/3 cup butter
2 cups quick oats, uncooked
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup flour
1/4 cup corn syrup
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup Milk or Dark Chocolate morsels
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Melt butter in medium saucepan. Remove from heat. Stir in oats, sugar, flour, corn syrup, milk, vanilla, and salt; mix well. Drop by level teaspoons, about 3" apart onto cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread thin with rubber spatula. Bake 375 degrees for 5 to 7 minutes (do not underbake, they will stick!) Cool completely. Melt chocolate chips & stir till smooth. Spread chocolate over half the cookie. Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
This blog is a blending of all of our family recipes onto one site. Please post comments and share any and all of your recipes (by emailing me, Pam.) The best way to navigate and find a recipe is to click on a label, which categorizes the recipes by people and type of dish. I am open to any feedback on how to improve this and make it the best it can be.
