Ingredients:
1 cup cooked ham
1 cup of very finely chopped carrots
1 onion very finely chopped
2- 15 oz cans of Great Northern Beans
1 cup chicken broth (may vary)
olive oil
corn bread
Directions:
saute carrots and onion in olive oil, in a dutch oven. When soft, add 1 can of rinsed beans, smashed with a fork and one can unsmashed beans. Add broth and bring to a slow simmer. Add cubed ham and cook for a couple hours, stirring and scraping the bottom of the dutch oven occasionally. Serve over corn bread.
